At least one baseball cap likely exists in a closet, on a dresser, hanging on a hat rack, etc. in most homes today. There's a good reason for that. Baseball caps are one of the best accessories known to the fashion world. Though there are many styles of hats and caps that can be worn, the baseball cap is one of the most versatile.
Men, women, young, old – even kids – baseball caps are worn each and every day by people from all walks of life and all status brackets. Whether male or female, however, people with long hair are able to rock baseball caps in a particular manner. We are going to take a look at that here.
Women and Baseball Caps
Okay, just because baseball caps were first worn by men out on the baseball diamond doesn't mean that women don't look incredible in them. Truth be told, in fact, women with long hair and baseball caps go together perfectly. Here are some suggestions:
- For a sporty but pretty look, allow your beautiful mane to hang loose. Just let it go with the flow.
- For a casual, cute look, ladies, pop that ponytail out the rear of your cap (this works well with snapbacks).
- For a sublimely chic style, at the nape of your neck, sweep your hair up in a messy chignon.
Keep in mind that if you wear your hat tightly around your head, you could end up with a bad case of hat hair – and maybe a headache. The point is that your baseball cap should be a comfortable fit, without being too tight or too loose.
What's fun about baseball style caps for women is that they don't necessarily have to resemble something that would be worn at a sporting event. They can be made from various materials – brushed velvet being one – and lend themselves to numerous fashions and styles.
Men and Baseball Caps
Yes, it's okay for men to wear their hair long if that's the way they like it. Just like women can rock a baseball cap with long hair, so can men. The question does arise, however, as to whether they will wear their long hair in a bun or not. The "man bun" has become a common site among the male persuasion.
This can be done in combination with wearing a baseball cap! It helps keep things tidy and neat, while giving you the benefit of a fresh look. But not every guy has let his hair grow to the point where they can wrap it all up in a nice bun. In that case, with wisps around your ears, it's great to let your hair fall naturally beneath your baseball cap. It's a carefree look that can be fun and sexy.
Make sure, however, that your hair is not dirty. Disheveled is okay, but your hair has to be clean!
