This low-profile fitted hat simply has a lower profile design than its partner, but all of the other features of the 59FIFTY. With a slight curve in the visor, it has a low sloping crown. Mix the New Era 9FIFTY and the 39FIFTY together and you come up with the adjustable 9FORTY hat. It has a pre-curved visor and a low-profile structured crown. It has a variety of closure types featured on its adjustable, open back, rather than a stretch band and closed back. Closure types include Velcro, strap back, and snap back. For bigger heads, this may not be the right hat.
A premier flex fit stretch-fit style hat, the New Era 39THIRTY hat has a fabricated shape that is specifically engineered to provide the best in caps classified as stretch-fit. The backs are still closed, and crowns structured, but these hats have an elastic spandex interior sweatband and a pre-curved visor. This specially designed sweatband allows the hat to fit on heads of multiple sizes.
Other caps by New Era include their beanies and knit caps, of course, as well as the 19TWENTY, 29TWENTY adjustable hat, and the 9FORTY adjustable hat. However, New Era doesn't draw the line at baseball caps, knit caps, and beanies.
