New Era’s Cooperstown Authentic Collection features throwback styles worn on-field during the Grey Bottom's heyday. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a throwback classic great. In this case, it’s the absence of the New Era flag on the left side of the hat. The New Era branding was not always present on on-field baseball hats, and this pays homage to that look aficionados revere. Less is more! This small detail is becoming increasingly popular these days and is part of the “Cooperstown Authentic Collection”. This alternate version from 1997 features classic Blue Jays colors, featuring both their namesake color and Scarlet for their Canadian roots, adding an unmistakably Canadian maple leaf into the front.
