New Era Cap 59Fifty fitted hat for the New York Mets in blue colorway, featuring 1986 World Series side patch. Celebrate the New York Mets and their 1986 World Series championship with this very special retro on-field from Hat Heaven. Unearthed from New Era archives, this cap is designed with left-sided side patches, which were the norm up until 2016. The absence of New Era side flags brings a breath of fresh air to this classic design, along with the omission of the rear MLB batterman, which was not part of the on-field fitted until 1992. The best part? Kelly Green UV, which were a mainstay of baseball hats until 1995. Wool construction features premium materials used, just like back in the day.
