In all seriousness, Korea has very little to do with the awesome city of Montreal. Some Koreans live there, we guess? However, their former baseball team’s logo has an aesthetic that hits very close to the lines of the Korean Taegeuk. The Taegeuk is usually featured in two colors, blue and red which represent Heaven and Earth. A third color is not usually used but when present it symbolizes Humanity. Taking this idea, we’ve applied it to the Expos logo, with Ombre Gold utilized in the middle and outlines. The use of Black matches traditional Korean garb which also features these same three colors.
