New Era’s Cooperstown Authentic Collection features throwback styles worn on-field during the Grey Bottom's heyday. Sometimes it’s the little things that make a throwback classic great. In this case, it’s the absence of the New Era flag on the left side of the hat. The New Era branding was not always present on on-field baseball hats, and this pays homage to that look aficionados revere. Less is more! This small detail is becoming increasingly popular these days and is part of the “Cooperstown Authentic Collection”. This is not made from performance fabric, rather a wool blend that is more suited for fashion-wear featuring much brighter, bolder colors. This all-Dark Green fitted was used for both road and home games. As this alternate colorway definitely rare and unusual, it’s a must-have for collectors.
