This one-of-a-kind Pirates fitted comes with loaded history. Before being called the Pirates, the Pittsburgh franchise went by the Allegheny Baseball Club for a few decades, before briefly going by the Pittsburgh Baseball Club in 1908, which is the logo seen here. Although they used a primarily Navy colorway with Scarlet accents, our version sports modern day colors, with two tones of yellow donning the front to give a sense of contrast with the interlocking letters.
