The design concept behind this hat was to replace the traditional colors on the famous Yankees "tophat" logo to make it more modern, but in a subtle fashion. We used Oceanside Blue and Frontdoor Red, which are much more subdued hues of blue and red compared to the bright and bold colors featured in the official logo. Using Storm Grey fabric which is reserved for the Yankees road uniform, the hat is rounded out with matching rear logo.
